Minors win league replay against Keady

In the much awaited league replay against Keady the Nab emerged victorious on a scoreline of St Brenda's 2-3 Keady 1-4. This was a gritty and commited performance from the Nab for whom Aileen McParland was outstanding in defence while Mairead McClelland was a constant thorn for the Keady attack.

Also catching the eye were the efforts of Geraldine Gray and Natalie Gray, particularly in the final quarter when everyone was giving their all. A mention also must go to super sub Petrina Cosgrove who earned a free soon after coming into the fray, which was pointed by Geraldine Gray, and who was on hand to blast the ball to the net for the winning score. 

This was a good sporting match and both teams played their parts, it was a game which either team could have won but it was the Nab's hunger and determination in the end that saw them through.
