Nab Primary Team in County C/ship Final!!

St Brenda’s primary team replayed Keady on Saturday 11th June in the county primary championship replay. After the drawn game which could have went eitherway, the Nab’s mentors had put much thought and effort into preparing their young charges for the challenge of their town neighbours and this all paid off when the Nab girls turned in a top drawer performance with every girl playing her part to the full.

Ballymacnab were outstanding in all sections of the field and their commitment and determination was matched by their skills and abilities. Credit to the Keady side who fought tooth and nail for every ball and who pushed the Nab to the final whistle.

Final score was Ballymacnab 3-4 Keady 1.0. Scorers for St Brenda’s were Amy McBirney 2-1, Caoimhe McParland 1-0, Hannagh McGeown 0-2 and Jayne Lavery 0-1. Laura McGeown was the Keady goal scorer.
 
Well done to the Nab primary team and their mentors who now move onto the Primary final on Wednesday night against St Joseph’s Madden.
