Olive Captains Armagh to Ulster Glory

Congratulations to inspirational St Brenda's Senior Player Olive McGeown who captained Armagh Camogs to a famous victory against arch rivals Down in the Ulster Junior Championship final on Sunday past in sunny Clones. Also playing their part were Ciara Hayes who got herself on a scoresheet as well as Laura Lavery and Laura Gribben. This was a great Armagh performance where the girl's really lifted themselves in the second half, having gone into the break 5 points down, and Down couldn't match the Orchard county cailini for their hunger and determination. This is as good an Armagh panel as the county has had for a long time and it'd be great to see the orange and white jersey make another appearance at Croke Park in September.
